Ms. Ty-yee-sha Lanette White

It is with sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the passing of Ms. Ty-yee-sha Lanette White of Lamar, SC. Lanette transitioned on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 in a Florence hospital. 

Funeral service is 1PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the Church Yard of Powerhouse Faith Ministry, 373 Davis Street, Lamar. Interment will follow in Plaza Memorial Cemetery, Grooms Drive, Lamar. 

Obituary

Ms. Ty-yee-sha Lanette White was born February 10, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of Joshua White, Jr. and Dorothy Anderson White.  She departed her earthly life on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.

Ty-yee-sha received her formal education in the Public Schools of Brooklyn, New York.  She received her G.E.D. from Bushwick Outreach.

Ty-yee-sha’s number one priority was caring for her two daughters and two sons.  She loved being a mother. She loved braiding hair, spending time with family and friends. Ty-yee-sha also loved having kids at her house.

 She was preceded in death by: her maternal grandparents: Lee and Leath Anderson; her paternal grandmother, Ethel White.

 Ms. Ty-yee-sha Lanette White leaves to cherish her life and celebrate her memories: her two daughters: Dataija White and Tatyana White; her two sons: Jaimeke Dukes and Javon Dukes; her loving parents: Dorothy White of Lamar, SC and Joshua White, Jr. of New York; one brother, Joseph Anderson of Bishopville, SC; two sisters, Sharese Anderson and Natasha White both of Lamar, SC; her paternal grandfather, Joshua White, Sr.; a special friend, Quewann Dukes; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the residence of a sister, Sharese Anderson, 105 Pine Street Lamar.
