With heartfelt sympathy, Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home and members of the Sims family announce the passing of Ms. Sallie Sims of East Orange, NJ.

Ms. Sims transitioned Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Public viewing will be held 6:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Congregational Baptist Church, 399 Bergen Street in Newark, NJ, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be provided by the professionals of Plinton Curry Funeral Home in Newark, NJ. 

Public viewing will be held 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, December 22, 2025, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC.

Interment will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, December 22, 2025, at Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 3208 N Governor Williams Hwy, Darlington, SC.
