Ms. Patricia Ann Lunn

It is with heartfelt sympathy that Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Lunn family announce the passing of Ms. Patricia Ann Lunn. Ms. Lunn passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC, after an illness.

The family will receive condolences and friends Sunday, October 13th and Monday, October 14th from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1372 Pocket Rd, Darlington, SC. 

The family will receive condolences and friends starting Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 5:00-9:00 PM at 407 Edwards Ave, Darlington, SC.

Public viewing will be 12:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC.

A Homegoing Celebration will be 12:30 PM, Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1372 Pocket Rd, Darlington, SC. Interment in the church cemetery will follow the service.

Ms. Patricia Ann Lunn was born December 20, 1952, in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Henry and Georgianna White Lunn.  She departed this earthly life on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at McLeod Hospice House, Florence, SC.

Patricia, aka Trish or Tricia, received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools and was a graduate of Mayo High School Class of 1971. 

She was a life member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she served on the Pastor’s Aide, Trustee Board, Usher Board and the Choir.

She spent most of her career in manufacturing:  Nitronic, Hartsville Nuclear Plant, Amana, and Maytag. She also worked at Cracker Barrel and Walmart.  After 50+ in the workforce, Patricia retired from Honda after 20+ years.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory - Siblings: Christine Lunn, Lynnwood (Claire) Lunn, Reginald Lunn, and Jeffery (Tracey) Lunn; her nieces/nephews and grandnieces/ nephews: Winona Ross Belton (Antonia) Belton, Alexandria Belton and Averie Belton; Katrina Jackson (Dyannah Tolbert); Kristen Jackson; Alonzo Floyd Tolbert Barcus, Nikki Jackson, Bettina Tolbert and Jessica Wallace, special friend, Michael Peterson; a host of loving cousins, extended relations and  friends.

She was predeceased by: her brother, Frederick Morgan Lunn; two sisters, H. Dianne Lunn Jackson and Linda Marie Lunn.
