Ms. Lakisha Renee Graham-Martin

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the sudden passing of Ms. Lakisha Graham-Martin of Darlington. Ms. Graham-Martin succumbed on Sunday afternoon, May 3, 2020 from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident. 

The family of Ms. Lakisha Graham-Martin in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, would love to be surrounded by your presence. They acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions and ask that those who attend the service ensure you are wearing masks and practice social distancing.  During this time, the family needs mostly your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.

Graveside services will be 10:00AM on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Wild Quarters Cemetery, Rogers Road, Darlington. Interment will follow immediately after service. 

~OBITUARY~

LaKisha Renee Graham was born on January 28, 1977 in Darlington, SC. Her parents are Selma Graham and Ernest McCall both of Darlington. Unfortunately, LaKisha passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 due to injuries sustained from an auto accident. Lakisha was employed with  Florence One  School at West Florence High School. She graduated from Mayo High School, class of 1996.

Lakisha was a member of Wesley Chapel Church in Hartsville. LaKisha was a hard-working person and she loved to laugh and take family pictures of everyone at any family gathering.  She was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.

Those left to mourn her death are: her parents, Selma L. Graham and Ernest McCall. Her children, Da’Quan Mykel Smalls, Ny’Asia Lakobe Martin and Davion Obie Martin.  Her brother, Jason Bernard Graham and his wife Evon; 2 grandchildren,  Elijah Mykel Smalls and Ma’Layah Janae Smalls. Her aunts, Deloris G. Knox and her husband William; Janice G. Colclough and Teresa L. Graham. Her grand-aunts and grand-uncles are: Nora Robertson, Annie Jett, Hermenia G. Dubose, Lillie Mae Williams, David Jett and his wife Margie, and Raleigh Jett, all of Darlington. As well as Frank Graham and his wife Martha, of Maryland. Her nieces and nephews are: Jason Bernard Graham, Jr., Myela Lyde and Jaxon Graham. There are many close cousins and friends who will truly miss her.

LaKisha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willie (Pa Pa) and Dorothy (Nana) Graham, as well as her uncle Mike Graham.

Visitation will held at 843 Indian Branch Road, Darlington for relatives and friends.
