Ms. Katrina Yvette Dargan

With heartfelt sympathy, the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Dargan and Jett families announce the passing of Ms. Katrina Yvette Dargan of Florence, SC. Ms. Dargan transitioned Thursday, February 6, 2025. 

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the residence, 2141 Delica Lane, Florence, SC.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Bethel AME Church, 1321 S Main St, Darlington, SC. Interment will follow at Faith Memorial Gardens, Rogers Rd, Darlington, SC.

      Ms. Katrina Yvette Dargan was born March 9, 1971, in Darlington, South Carolina, a daughter of Edward Dargan and Mary Kathy Jett. She entered into her final resting place on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

     She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools graduating from St. John High School Class of 1989.  She lived all her life in Darlington where she was gainfully employed. Her last employment was at United States Postal Service.

     She was a member of Bethel A. M. E. Church where she was a member of the choir.

     “Trina”, as she was called by family and friends, was a very loving and caring person. No one was a stranger. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  To know her was to love her.

     Those left to cherish her precious memories are: her mother, Mary Kathy Jett of Darlington, SC; her father, Edward Dargan of Darlington, SC; her three children: Devin Dargan (Alisha) of  Michigan, Reagan Fuller (Justin Pullom) of Hartsville, SC and Brooklyn Dargan of the home;  her grandmother, Nora Robinson of Darlington, SC; adopted grandson, Nikko; her siblings: Gregory Jett of Darlington, SC, Jason Dargan of Pamplico, SC; her uncles:  Kenneth (Roxanne) Jett, Boyce Williams, Randolph Williams, Raleigh Jett, David (Margie) Jett; an aunt, Vera Williams; two nephews: Landyn Johnson and Dylan Wright; a host of cousins, multiple best friends; other relatives and friends.
