Jimmicina was a friendly and godly woman who loved the Lord. She was more of the peacemaker in the family. Many people knew her as “Aunt Jimmi”. Jimmicina had a contagious smile that was delightful to others. She was a very generous and dedicated worker for her family. She always made sure there was food prepared for their Family Prayer Meetings. She was also a chauffeur for her two sisters, niece, and great nephew whom she loved dearly. Jimmicina and her two sisters loved and took care of each other.
Jimmicina worked a few jobs before going to work at The Great Hot Dog Stand in the Magnolia Mall when it first opened in 1979. She worked there a few years. After leaving the Magnolia Mall, Jimmicina went to work at Wal-Mart. She was part of the Wal-Mart family for 29 years. She retired in November 2020 due to declining health.
Her twin brother, Jimmy, who died at birth, preceded Jimmicina in death. Jimmicina’s father and mother, Otto and Olivia Brown Dargan; her sister, Ernestine Samuel; and a brother, David Dargan, also preceded her in death.
