It is with sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home announces the passing of Ms. Flora "Lois" McNeil Myers. Ms. Myers expired on Monday, December 28, 2020 in a Florence Hospital.
Graveside service is 3:00pm on Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Round O Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will follow. Please adhere to social distancing and mask wearing.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection, the truth, and the life. He that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live.”
Mrs. Flora Delores McNeil Myers, better known as Lois was born in Darlington County on June 7, 1962, the daughter of the late Raymond, Sr. and Jamesina Charles McNeil. Lois quietly entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 28, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Lois received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools System. She was formally employed with Darlington County School District.
She was a faithful member of New Providence Missionary Baptist Church. Lois loved her church family dearly.
Lois was known for her beautiful smile and affectionate laugh. To know her was to love her. Lois loved reading her Bible, talking on the phone, spending time with her family and making memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Jackie McNeil, Raymond McNeil, Jr., and David McNeil.
Those left to cherish her precious memories are: three sisters: Maxine Johnson of Florence, Bensena “Angie” McNeil and Patricia (Frederick) Baker, both of Darlington, SC; one brother: Jimmy McNeil of Darlington, SC; two aunts: Ms. Ophagene McNeil and Ms. Katie Bell Charles, both of Darlington, SC; several nieces and nephews that she helped reared and loved as her own; special cousins and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will not be any home visitation.
