It is heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the passing of Ms. Crystal Elizabeth Kennedy of Darlington. Ms. Kennedy passed on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at McLeod Regional Center following an extended illness.

Memorial Service is 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 4, 2023 in the Chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc.

Obituary

Ms. Crystal Elizabeth Kennedy was born April 17, 1977 in Bronx, New York a daughter of the late Charles and Marsha Kennedy. She entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.

She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools.

Crystal was employed as a head start teacher at M. G. Bruno Head Start Center in Darlington, SC until her health declined.

Those left to cherish her memories are: her loving daughters: Kaitlyn Jones (22), Ky’Leis Kennedy (15) and Kiresten Kennedy (11) all of Darlington, SC; her god-son, Sir’King Campbell (4); a host of other relatives and friends who regrets her passing.
