Mrs. Williams answered the Lord’s call Home on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Faith Healthcare Center in Florence, SC.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 12, 2025, in the Chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC. Interment will follow at Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 3208 N. Governor Williams Hwy, Darlington, SC.

Mrs. Sarah L. Williams was born April 25, 1931 in Florence, South Carolina a daughter of the late Ben and Mariah Thomas Williams. She entered into her final rest on January 5, 2025 at Faith Healthcare Nursing Center, Florence, SC.
She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public School System. She lived all her life in Darlington County where she was gainfully employed.
Sarah was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to the late Junior Lee Williams.
She was preceded in death by: two sons-in-law: L.T. Dargan and Henry Lee Denson; her siblings: Kate Lockhart, Corine McNeil, Joseph Williams and Mattie “Lizzie” Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her two daughters: Annie Bell Dargan and Delores Ann Denson both of Darlington, SC; her son, Junior Williams of Darlington, SC; a sister, Martha Black of Darlington, SC; eight grandchildren: Cathy Dargan, Elliott Wayne Dargan, Jonathan (Tabitha) Dargan, Debra (Craig) McKay, Sharon (Victor) Newton, Cynthia (Ron) Eaddy, Jovan (Angela) Denson, Kevin Williams; twenty-six great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
