With heartfelt sympathy, the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Jett and Robinson families announce the passing of Mrs. Nora Lee Jett Robinson of Darlington, SC. Mrs. Robinson transitioned Saturday, April 19, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the residence of her daughter, Ms. Kathy Jett, at 2141 Delica Lane, Florence, SC.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Bethel AME Church, 1321 S Main St, Darlington, SC. Interment will follow at Wilds-Quarters Cemetery, Rogers Rd, Darlington, SC.

Mrs. Nora Lee Jett Robinson was born August 3, 1937 in Darlington, South Carolina a daughter of the late Rollie “Raleigh” Jett and Mary Wilds Jett. She entered into her final resting place on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at McLeod Reginal Medical Center, Florence, SC.
She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools. After graduating she moved to Jamica Queens, New York and later moved to Paterson, New Jersey. Later she returned home to Darlington, SC. She did Domestic Work while in New York and New Jersey. She was employed with Governor David Beasley Family until she retired.
Nora was a faithful member of Bethel A.M.E. Church.
She was joined in holy wedlock to the late James Robinson, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Raleigh and Mary Jett; her siblings: Henry Jett, Dorothy Graham and Pauline Stucks; a granddaughter, Katrina Dargan; her sisters-in-law: Annie Jett, Debra Jett; a brother-in-law, Willie Graham and Sammie Stucks.
Those left to cherish her memories are: her children: Kathy Jett of Darlington, SC and Kenneth (Roxanne) Jett of Goldsboro, NC; six grandchildren: Gregory Jett, Kendra (Casey) Jett-Bratton, Wynek (Anthony) Jett-Tyson; Kenneth Lacour (Tara), Nickki Lacour and Lorenzo Jett; eleven great grandchildren: Devin Dargan (Alisha), Reagan Fuller (Justin Pullom), Brooklyn Dargan, Landyn Johnson, Dylan Wright,Israel Dortch, Jacob Lacour, Keri Johnson, John Warren, Jalena Jett, Nevaeh Tyson; two great-great grandchildren: Jaiden Lacour and John Johnson; her siblings: Raleigh Jett, David (Margie) Jett, Joan (Buddy) Deas; nieces: Selma Graham, Teresa Wright, Cherise Dailey, Paula Larkins, Samantha (Veldon) Stoddard, Deloris Knox, Lynette Jett, Janice Colclough, Carol Thompson, and LaShaundra Gardner; nephews: David A. Stucks, Henry (Alisa) Jett, Jr., Jimmy Nettles and Raleigh (Dana) Jett, III.; special friends, Margarine and Angel Oyola; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
