Mrs. Lisa Sanders Foster

It is with sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Sanders and Foster families announce the passing of Mrs. Lisa Sanders Foster of Florence, SC.  Mrs. Foster passed on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Florence following an illness. 

Funeral service is 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Florence National Cemetery.  Interment will follow.

Obituary

        “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.” 

     Mrs. Lisa Ann Foster was born February 8, 1972 in Darlington, South Carolina a daughter of the late Ernestine Sanders Joe.  She entered into her final resting place on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence, SC.

    She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public School System.

    At an  early age, she attended Glorious Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Darlington.

    Lisa was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

     Those left to cherish her memory are:  her loving husband, Robert “Bobby” Foster of the home; four children: Shameka Sanders (Chris Goodson) of Darlington, SC, Cassandra Renee Sanders of Florence, SC, Diamond Foster of Florence, SC and Robert Orr Foster, II of Florence, SC; two brothers: Terry (Laura) Sanders of Darlington, SC and Michael Sanders of Conway, SC; four grandchildren: Imari, Allani, Armoni Goodson and Ontaria Elizabeth Wiggins; her father-in-law, Mickey (Pat) Foster of Myrtle Beach, SC; nieces and nephews: Arkell Jenkins, Daquan McCurry, Ikeria Woods, Javaria Sanders, Mikasia Sanders, Micharl Sanders, Jr., Malia Sanders, Ahmir Russell, Michael Sanders, III, Mikayla Sanders, Terielle Sanders, Terri Sanders, Reggie Sanders and Destiny Sanders; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
