It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the sudden passing of Mrs. Linnette Baldwin Martin of Timmonsville, SC. Mrs. Martin exchanged time for eternity on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral service is 12 Noon, Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Martin Memorial Cemetery, Timmonsville, SC.
“For now I am ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.” II Timothy 4:6-8
Mrs. Linnette Baldwin Martin was born in Manhattan, New York on June 15, 1960 a daughter of the late Robert Baldwin, Sr. and Mae Mack Baldwin. She entered into her final rest on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at her residence.
She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools graduating from Lamar High School Class of 1979. She worked as a Caregiver for many years.
Presently, she was a member of Family Worship Center, Florence, SC.
Linnette was united in holy wedlock to Obie Martin and together they rear the late Cellica Elizabeth Martin who died June 27, 2022.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband, Obie Martin of the home; seven siblings: Danny (Chanda) Baldwin of New York, Robert (Lesia) Baldwin of North Charleston, SC, Leonard Baldwin of Hartsville, SC, Thelma Baldwin of Hartsville, SC, Helena Baldwin of New York, Richard Simon of Greenville, SC and Lennies Baldin of Florence, SC; several brothers and sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
