Life Reflections of a Phenomenal Woman
Mrs. Frances Marie Campbell Robinson wasborn November 24, 1948 in New York, New York, a daughter of the late Sergeant Frank and Madie Williams Campbell. She entered into her eternal rest on Friday, September 12, 2025 at McLeod Hospice House, Florence, SC.
She received her primary education while traveling abroad with her Army enlisted father and her mother, at army bases including; Ludwigsburg, Germany and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. After returning to Darlington, SC, she attended Darlington County Public Schools, graduating from Mayo High School, Class of 1967.
On August 5, 1967, she was united in holy matrimony to Levern “King” Robinson. To their union, they were blessed with four beautiful children.
She obtained her degree in nursing from Florence General Hospital School of Nursing. She was gainfully employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse until becoming paralyzed in an accident. She then became a full-time devoted wife and mother to her children.
“Puddin” and “Mommie” as she was affectionally called in her early years; “Queen” and “Mrs. Chancellor” as she was affectionally called in her later years, was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. At an early age, she attended and became a member of the historic Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. As a member, she served as President of the Pastor’s Aide, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, spearheaded the Macedonia Soup Kitchen- serving those in need in the Darlington community, as well as actively participated in various capacities in the church.
She spent countless hours diligently listening to, reading, studying, meditating and sharing The Word of God with all of family and friends. Later in life, she obtained her Associates Degree from Grace Christian University in Ministry and Leadership in 2018. One of her greatest achievements.
The joy of sharing the gospel, the love she had for her siblings, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her family were, to her, her greatest accomplishments and her sweetest joy.
