It is with profound sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the McWhite and Alston families share the loss of Mrs. Eva Mae McWhite Alston of Paterson, New Jersey, formerly of Darlington, SC. Mrs. Alston expired on Wednesday, December 07, 2022 in Paterson, New Jersey from an illness. 

Viewing will be 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in Garfield, New Jersey; a Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00PM in the church. Carnie P. Bragg Funeral Home, Inc. of Paterson, New Jersey in assisting the family. 

Public viewing for Mrs. Alston in SC will be Sunday, December 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Interment will follow on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10:00AM in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
