Obituary

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to the know the difference.”

Mrs. Emma Ann Smith Jordan was born to the late Wille Smith and Lillie Mae Joint Smith on January 10, 1953 in Darlington, SC. She peacefully entered her eternal resting place surrounded by family at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC on Monday, April 11, 2022.

She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools and graduated from Rosenwald High School, Class of 1973.

Emma confessed Christ at an early age and held to her faith until her eternal rest.  She joined and was baptized at Mt.
