Mrs. Darlene Luvenia Isaac Frazier

With heartfelt sympathy, the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Isaac family announce the passing of Mrs. Darlene Luvenia Isaac Frazier of Darlington, SC. Mrs. Frazier transitioned Thursday, August 14, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC, after an illness.

The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the home of a cousin, Michelle Fox-Smalls, 248 Floyds Rd, Darlington, SC.

Public viewing will be held 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC.

Graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, August 18, 2025, at Darlington Memory Gardens, 2071 E Bobo Newsom Hwy, Hartsville, SC.

      Ms. Darlene Luvenia Isaac Frazier was born September 11, 1964, a daughter of the late Robert Isaac, Sr., and Elizabeth McDaniel Isaac. She entered into her final resting place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.

    She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools graduating from St. John’s High School Class of 1982. She lived all her life in Darlington and was gainfully employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 20 years until her health declined.

     She was a member of Centerville AME Church in Hartsville, SC.

     Darlene was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Isaac, Sr., and Elizabeth McDaniel Isaac; two brothers: Robert Isaac and Jimmy Lee Isaac; and one sister: Violet Joyce Rice.

      Darlene was survived by her two children: daughter, Cassie (Maurice) Isaac McAlister of Darlington, SC; son, Casey (Brandi) Isaac of Florence, SC; grandchildren: Camille McAlister, Chloe McAlister, Cali McAlister, Malik McAlister all of Darlington, SC, Jada Isaac, Journi Isaac and Jordyn Isaac all of Florence, SC; godchildren: Ashley Isaac and Justin “Kylik” Foxe; two brothers: Donald (Lera) Isaac and Alex Isaac both of Darlington, SC; three sisters: Dianne (Foster, Jr.) Foxe, Janice (Roosevelt) Perkins both of Darlington, SC and Mary (Steve) Edward of Hartsville, SC; a sister-in-law, Lizzie Isaac; one brother-in-law, Michael Rice; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
