The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 3220 New Hopewell Rd, Darlington, SC, daily from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Public viewing will be 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Bethesda Baptist Church, 208 Church St, Society Hill, SC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Arthurine Graham, also known as “Monk,” was born to the late Arthur and Vermell Sanders McFarland on May 7, 1940 in Darlington County, SC. She departed this life at her residence surrounded by love on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Mrs. Graham graduated from Rosenwald High School after attending Darlington County Schools. She was employed for the telephone company and as a caretaker until her health declined.
As the oldest of 18 children, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, true crime shows, and cooking for her friends and family. She loved to dance and found great joy in photography.
On August 26, 1961, she was joined in holy matrimony to Edward Lee Graham, and to this union six children were born.
Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Edward Graham; her parents, Arthur McFarland and Vermell McFarland and several of her brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her loving memory are: her children: Joanne McFarland (Donell Bruce) of Society Hill, SC, Betty Lindsay of Dover, DE, James Graham (Evelena Smith) of Darlington, SC, Emmanuel Antonio Graham of Charlotte, NC, Andre (Valerie) Graham of Roxboro, NC and Brian Graham of Washington, DC; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; bonus children: Ivory (Sue) Johnson, Larry (Evelena) Johnson, Paulette (Larry) McCall, Tony Hunter, Martina Hunter and Jerome Hunter; sisters: Barbarann (the late George)Zimmerman, Mary Ann (Mannie) Williams; brothers: Monroe (Lela) McFarland, Leroy McFarland, and Levern McFarland; goddaughter, Malaisha Williams; special neighbor, Cyril Benjamin; special niece, LaToya Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
