It is with profound sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the passing of Mrs. Alma Bacote Johnson of Washington, DC, formerly of Society Hill, SC.

Alma Bacote Johnson passed away on June 22nd in Washington D.C. from natural causes.

Alma was born on August 17, 1930. Alma leaves to cherish her memory; 2 sons: Antoine and Andre, grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morris Funeral Home and Cremation, 202-412-0608. Services, were held at Chambers Funeral Home, 5801 Cleveland Ave. Riverdale, MD 20737 on Saturday, June 27. Visitation 11-12. Service 12-1.

Burial will be in Society Hill, SC at 208 Church St. Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
