It is with profound sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Love family announces the passing of Mr. Willie Edward Love of Darlington. Mr. Love passed on Monday, May 15, 2023 in the comfort of his home.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in the Chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Faith Memorial Gardens. There will be NO Public Viewing.

God shall wash away all your tears, He saw Willie’s burdens was getting heavy, so he gave him rest …. Mr. Willie Edward Love was born in Darlington County on May 10, 1950, the son of Dorothy Love and Swinton Kelly. He departed this life on Monday, May 15, 2023 at his residence.
Mr. Love attended Darlington County Public Schools. He worked for Darlington County, Clanton Auto Auction and driving taxi cabs with Pee Dee Taxi Company.
He was preceded by his parents, Dorothy Love McNeil and Swinton Kelly; a son, Jimmy Love and two brother, Alphonso Love and Donald Swinton.
Left to cherish his memory, his wife, Shirley Beaty Love of Darlington, SC; his loving daughters: Willie Renee Sanders of Thomasville, NC, Sheneda Lamora Love of Charlotte, NC and Denise Carter of Winston Salem, NC; his precious grand and great grandchildren; a devoted sister, Delores A. Love of Darlington, SC; uncle and aunt, Walter and Mary Love of Richmond, VA; a special nephew, Aubrey Carroway of Darlington, SC; a special niece, Pamela Love-Cooper; the mother of his children, Roina Damon Love; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
