It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the passing of Mr. Redric Keyon Jackson of Darlington. Mr. Jackson passed Monday evening, September 13, 2021 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Funeral service is 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Faith Memorial Gardens, 653 Rogers Road, Darlington with Suffragan Bishop Wesley Belin, officiating. Interment will follow. Please adhere to social distancing and mask wearing for this service.

Mr. Redric Keyon Jackson was born in Florence, SC on October 13, 1994 a son of Rosa Jackson Pooler and Reginald Jackson. He departed this life on Monday, September 13, 2021 due to injuries in an automobile accident.
He received his formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools graduating from Darlington High School Class of 2013.
“Rey”, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing online games with his friends but also spent a great amount of time with his grandma, Candy, that he affectionately called, “Granny”. Redric was a philosopher of music and was willing to give and help someone in need. His smile could light up any room.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Johnny Jackson, Jr.; his great grandmother, Ethel Jackson; his aunt, Brenda Jackson and uncle, Rufus Jackson.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his mother and step-father: Rosa and Michael Pooler; his father, Reginald Jackson; five brothers: Qaishaun Ross, Dysean Jackson, Reginald S. Jackson, Jaquest Jackson and Najee Fajardo; his sister, Shakera Jackson; his grandmothers: Aleen “Candy” James and Azalee (Ulysses) Richardson; his grandfather, Harry James; three nieces: Qaisha Ross, Kamari Washington and Honestii Ross; a nephew, Qaishaun Ross, Jr.; god-brother, Brian James; five uncles: Tiven (Rosa) Jackson Harry James, Edris Jackson, Jeffery Carter and Chante Carter; five aunts: Latonya (Albert) Laredo, Maria Gaskin, Candice (Carlos) Dunlap, Lelita Jackson and Antanette Jackson; his six best friends for life: Hassiem Neil, Shaquel Green, Juquavis Bailey (cousin too), Marques Robinson, Brandon Robinson and Dana Ham; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at 2113 Basswood Drive, Darlington.
