It is with heartfelt sympathy that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Williams and Stuckey families announce the transition of Mr. Kingston Mack Stuckey of Darlington, SC. Mr. Stuckey transitioned on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the home of his mother, Ms. Karla Williams, at 136 April Drive, Darlington, SC.
Public viewing will be 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at New Providence Baptist Church, 2156 Cashua Ferry Rd, Darlington, SC. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery, Resolution Lane off Georgetown Rd, Darlington, SC.
Obituary
Mr. Kingston Mack Stuckey, known as “Kangman” was born in Florence, SC on August 28, 2007, a son of Karla Alicia Williams and the late Milton Mack Stuckey, III. He departed this life on Monday, November 18, 2024, at his residence.
He received his formal education in the Darlington County Public School System to graduate at Darlington High School with the Class of 2025.
Kingston attended New Providence Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age. He was employed at Food Lion, Darlington, SC.
Kingston was a kind and compassionate young man with a heart of gold. He was known for his love of playing video games, where he often connected with friends and shared countless laughs. Always eager to lend a helping hand, Kingston had a selfless spirit and a genuine desire to make others feel valued and supported. He adored his mother and was fiercely protective of her, always ensuring she felt loved and cared for. His warm, heartfelt hugs were the best, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to receive one. His big heart, caring nature, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Stuckey, III; his maternal grandmother, Louise Lula Williams; paternal grandfather, Milton Stuckey, Jr.; maternal great grandparents: Henrietta Williams and Joe Williams; a special cousin, Bobby Williams, paternal grandfather, Joseph Curtis.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his mother, Karla Alicia Williams; his paternal grandmother, Meta Robinson Stuckey; his maternal grandfather, Wesley Bobby Henderson; his siblings: Latrivia Stuckey, Lakeytria Brown, Tonja (Gavin) Knake and Xavier Davis; his uncle, Kenneth K. Williams; his two aunts: Teresa Washington and Carol Douglas; one niece, Latavia Samuel; four nephews: Omari Robertson, Ayden Davis, Lawrence Knake and Shamari Tedder; a special friend, Aniyah McFadden; his god-parents: Micaela (Titus) Pressley, Quincy Gregg and Michael Curtis; his great aunts and uncles: Mary Williams (Bobby Prime), Theodore (Debra) Williams, Marion Williams, Jerry Williams, Jackie Robinson, Carol Robinson, Mary Robinson, Patricia Williams, Mildred Davis, and Shirley Williams; a special cousins, Titus “T.J.” Pressley, Jr., Billie Williams, Jaylen Whitaker, Mike Williams and Angela Thomas; honorary aunts: Suzella Charles, Markita (Robert) Pouncey, Cassie (Maurice) McAlister, Sade (Floyd) Smith, Apollonia Love, Shantae (Kevin) Williams, Rosetta Trice Ham, Beverly Ryles, Milisa Ryles, Kenyatta Cannon; honorary uncles: Timothy Bennett, Tyrese Davis, Matthew Davis, Andrew Davis, Quentin Davis, Lawrence Williams, Darrell Hunter and Willie Ryles, Jr.; best friends: Savion Deonta Alford, Dante J.
