Mr. Kareem Sha’Kuan Zimmon

With heartfelt sympathy, the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Zimmon family announce the passing of Mr. Kareem Sha’Kuan Zimmon of Darlington, SC. Mr. Zimmon transitioned on the evening of Monday, April 28, 2025.

Visitation for family and friends will be held daily from 4:00-10:00 PM at the home of his uncle, Kenneth “Kwame” Zimmon, 408 E. Glendale Dr, Florence, SC.

Public viewing will be 12:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Center Baptist Church, 3420 N Sally Hill Rd, Darlington, SC. Interment will follow at Hart No 2 Cemetery, Timmonsville Hwy, Darlington, SC.

Obituary

    Mr. Kareem Sha’Kuan Zimmon was born October 18, 1999 in Florence, South Carolina a son of Michelle Zimmon and the late Korei Jimmy Bull. He departed this life on Monday, April 28, 2025.

   He received his formal education in the Darlington County Public School System.

    Kareem was a loving son, brother, father, nephew, cousin and friend. He enjoyed traveling different places and was an outgoing person who enjoyed life.  Kareem never met a stranger. He was always willing to give a helping hand. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

    Those left to cherish his memories are: his mother, Michelle Zimmon of Florence, SC; one brother, Jakoreem Bull of Darlington, SC; two sisters: Kierra James and Ma’Asia Bull both of Darlington, SC; one son, K’Ceyon Zimmon of Hartsville, SC; paternal grandmother, Vivian (Johnny) Stephens of Darlington, SC; a special lady of the community, Mama Dee; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends; and a special friend, Sharonda Martin.

     Kareem was preceded in death by: his father, Korei Jimmy Bull; maternal grandparents, Eddie Zimmon, Jr. and Eddie Mae Zimmon.
