Mr. Kadell "K.C." Ervin

It is with profound sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home Inc. and members of the Ervin family announce the transition of Mr. Kadell "K.C." Ervin of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Darlington, South Carolina. Mr. Ervin died on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at his residence in Ohio. He was the son of the late Kadell Ervin and Dilsie Stevenson Ervin.  He was the father of the late Lee Ann Ervin Simmons and Victor Ervin. His siblings are the late: Lillian Ervin, George Ervin, Sr., Lee Ann Ervin, and Edward Ervin.  K.C. is survived by his wife, Sadie Lee Ervin and a daughter, Angelette Ervin and Annette Hines-Crook; Grandchildren: Robert Anthony, Jasmine Crook, Javonna Crook-Lumpkin, Na’Tavia Ervin, Patience Hines; Great-grandchildren: Sherron Faison, Michael Edwards, and Karter Lumpkin.

Public Viewing will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 ; 5pm-7pm at Gaines Funeral Home 9116 Union Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44105. Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at Church of the Reform 11501 Mt. Carmel Avenue, Cleveland , Ohio 44104. Wake at 1:00pm. Celebration of Life at 1:30pm.  Local announcements by Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc.
