In Remembrance
On January 1, 1966, God blessed a handsome baby boy, Julius Newton Poole, to be born to Boyd Poole, Sr., and Ruby Hudson Poole in Darlington, South Carolina. Julius transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday afternoon, April 15, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Julius received his education in the Darlington County Public School System. Julius graduated from St. John High School along with his classmates in the year 1984.
At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and became a member of the New Providence Baptist Church. During that time, he was under the leadership of Reverend Judge Pearson.
Julius was joined in holy matrimony to LaChrista McIver Poole and to this union, they were blessed with three daughters, Taryn, Al’Nisa, and Imani.
Julius was employed at Mar Mac in McBee, South Carolina. After that, he accepted employment at Sonoco in Hartsville, South Carolina, and worked there for 34 years until his passing. When Julius was not working on his job, he spent time doing other activities with his children.
Julius enjoyed the life that was gracefully given to him by God. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to laugh and joke with the people around him. Julius was truly well-love and will be truly missed by all that was blessed to know him. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Boyd Poole, Sr. and Ruby H. Poole; sister: Bertell Poole; nephews: Gerard Poole and Keith Montgomery; and brother-in-law: Jerry Delaine.
