Mr. Julius Williamson

With heartfelt sympathy, Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Williamson family announce the passing of Mr. Julius Williamson of Darlington, SC. Mr. Williamson transitioned Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at home surrounded by love.

The family will be receiving friends starting Friday, November 7, 2025, daily from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the residence of his sister and brother-in law, Mary Ann and Horace Williams, 321 Moses Drive, Darlington, SC.

Public viewing will be 12:00 to 4:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2025, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC.

A graveside funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Cooper Family Cemetery, Sandbar Rd, Darlington, SC. Interment will follow.

Obituary

    Mr. Julius Willliamson was born in Darlington, South Carolina on June 3, 1968 a son of the late Erwin and Jessie Mae Dubose Williamson.  He peacefully entered into his final resting place on Wednesday afternoon, November 5, 2025 at the residence of his aunt, Emma Jean Williams.  

   He received his formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools System.   

    Julius lived all his life in Darlington County where he worked various jobs.

    Those left to cherish his memory are:  his son, Devontae Williams; special friends, Myeisha Sanders; ; his two grandchildren:  Madisyn Williams and Memphis Williams; two sisters:  Mary Ann (Horace) Williams and Janice Joe; three brothers: Lonnie (Angela) Dubose, Ervin (Viola) Williamson and Michael (Heidi) Williamson; special aunts:  Emma Jean Williams, Janice Dubose and Judy  Rush; special cousins: Michelle Wallace, Dominique Wallace, Bennie Rush, Jr. and Anna Elizabeth Edwards Reynolds; a host of other family and friends.
