Mr. James Edward Williams, Jr.

It is with profound sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the sudden passing of Mr. James E. Williams, Jr. of Darlington. Mr. Williams' life was cut short on Thursday evening at his residence. 

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Darlington Memorial Cemetery, D Avenue, Darlington.

Mr. James Edward Williams, Jr. was born November 1, 1995 in Darlington, SC, a son of James Edward Williams, Sr. and Dorothy Gooden Williams.  He departed this life on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his residence as results of a gunshot wound.

He received his formal education in the Chesterfield County Public Schools attending McBee High School.

Those left to cherish his memory are:  his parents: James Edward Williams, Sr. and Dorothy G. Williams of Darlington; a sister, LaTonya Louise Williams; a nephew, Joseph Edward Williams; aunts and uncles: Rebecca (Davis) Wilson, Lonzenia Williams, Bernetha, Jerry Williams and Butch Gooden; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be a held at the residence, 1324 Larrys Drive, Darlington.
