Mr. James Jacobs, affectionately known as “Mydaddy” to both young and old was born in Darlington County on November 11, 1932. He was the 6th child of 13 children to the late Louie and Mary Pooler Jacobs. James departed from his Earthly life on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in the comfort of his home.

James loved to fish, work on cars, and occasionally tell old stories of the plantation where he and his siblings were raised. “Mydaddy” was a man of few words, but when he spoke it did count to all those who loved him.
