Obituary
It is with sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Gilmore family announces the passing of Mr. I. J. Gilmore of Lamar, SC. Mr. Gilmore transitioned peacefully early Sunday morning, May 21, 2023 at the residence of his daughter and caretaker, Mrs. Flisher Matthews, following and extended illness.
Funeral service is 1:00pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Apostolic Church, 404 N. Warren Street, Timmonsville, SC. Interment is private.
Visitations for relatives and friends will be held at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Flisher Matthews, 215 West Pearl Street, Lamar, SC.
