Mr. Donnie Lighty

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Lighty and Covington families announce the passing of Mr. Donnie Lighty of Society Hill, SC. Mr. Lighty exchanged time for eternity on Friday, August 30, 2024, peacefully at his home. 

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, September 6th at Mt Rona Baptist Church, 245 Lumber Rd, in Society Hill, SC. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

There will be no visitation for relatives and friends at the home due to COVID concerns.
