Mr. Dominque Markel Robinson

It is with heartfelt sympathy that Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., and members of the Blathers and Robinson families announce the passing of Mr. Dominque Markel Robinson. Mr. Robinson transitioned Thursday, October 17, 2024.

The family will receive condolences and friends starting Monday, October 21, 2024, from 5:30pm - 10:00pm daily at the home of his mother, Ms. Tiffany Robinson, at 1628 Shilow Drive, Darlington, SC.

Public viewing will be 12-4 pm, Friday, October 25, 2024, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc.

Graveside funeral service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Mt Rona Baptist Church Cemetery, 245 Lumber Rd, Society Hill, SC, with interment to follow.

Obituary

Mr. Dominque Markel Robinson departed this earthly life on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in a tragic accident. He was born on July 31, 1997, in Florence, South Carolina, the cherished son of Ernest Deon Blathers and Tiffany Robinson.

Dominque was a graduate of Darlington High School, Class of 2017. He was a member of the baseball and football teams. After graduation, he entered the workforce working various jobs.  He loved the Washington Commanders, Dodge Chargers, and was a sharp dresser. He could always make you laugh and smile.

Those left to cherish Dominque’s memory are his parents Deon (Katrina) Blathers and Tiffany Robinson; two children that were his world, Kay’Den Ceaser and E’yon Hayes; three sisters, Nyshea Wilds (Raven Spann), Shantoria James, Ce’Quaya Resper, and Aliah Graham; grandparents, Ernest (Betty) Dixon, Martha (Jerry) Sims, and Lonza (Dorothy) Robinson; uncles: Lonza Aaron Robinson, Theodore Blathers, Anthoney Blathers, Sharad Samuel, RaJohnathan (Christen) Samuel, and Doc (Wanda) Smith; nieces, Ky’Nera Huggins, Morgan Cooks, and Chai Phillips; nephews, Tre’Vyon Cooks and Zyhir Samuel; aunts, Gloria Robinson, Mavis Robinson, and Sherri Smith; Godbrother, Archie Dixon; two God aunts, Wanda Dixon and Aaliyah Scipio Jackson; and a host of great uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.
