No public viewing will be held at the funeral home prior to the service.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Darlington Middle School Gymnasium, 150 Pinedale Dr, Darlington, SC. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in peace at Faith Memorial Gardens, 640 Rogers Rd, Darlington, SC.

Obituary
Mr. De’Marion “Man- Man” James was born April 23, 2007, in Florence, South
Carolina, son of Sonya James. He suddenly departed this life on Friday, June 5, 2026.
De’Marion received his formal education in the Darlington County Public School
System. Mr. De’Marion “Man-Man” James was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin,
nephew and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who loved him
dearly.
Survivors left to cherish his loving memory are: his mother, Sonya James (of the
home); two sisters: Deashia Benjamin and Yazmin James (of the home); one brother:
Andre James (of the home); nephew: Juelz Benjamin (of the home); Justice Benjamin
(of the home); maternal grandparent: Charles Berry of Darlington, SC; two aunts:
Latoya James and Shanora James (of Darlington); two uncles: Fonta James, Sr. and
Travise James, Sr. (all of Darlington) Golda “NaNa” Coe (of Darlington) who helped
raised him as her own; god-mother: Samantha Green (of Darlington); god-sister:
ShaMya Green & John Reese III (of Washington, DC); god-brother: Gregory Cosom, Jr.
(of Darlington) special grandma, Marsha (Maurice) Sheppard; special nephew: Juelz
Benjamin (of the home); special niece: Justice Benjamin (all of Darlington) special
cousins/friends: Sheldric Lucas (best friend) Ty, Quan, TJ, Jaylan, Chase, Shantoria &
Laniya along with a host of “aunts and cousins,” all of Darlington, SC.
Those who preceded him in death are: maternal grandmother: Willistine James; two
cousins: Roland “Bolo” Bruce and Ty’Jeon McFarland.
