It is profound sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Fox family announce the passing of Mr. Bobby Fox, Jr.
Mr. Fox exchanged time for eternity on Tuesday, July 25, 2022 at McLeod Regional Medical Center following an illness.
Funeral service is 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Faith Memorial Gardens. Interment will follow.

Mr. Bobby Fox, Jr. was born November 22, 1971 in Darlington SC to Virginia “Brown” Wilds and the late Bobby Fox Sr. He transitioned into his eternal rest on Tuesday afternoon, July 25th, 2023 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Bobby received his early education in Darlington County Public Schools.
He accepted Christ and was a lifetime member of New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church in Timmonsville SC.
He lived all his life in Darlington County and were employed at Darlington Veneer for 12 years before he became ill. He also helped diligently with taking care of his grandchildren. Bobby had many friends, co workers and family that loved him dearly. Bobby had a very special bond with his mother Virginia. They spent every single day together.
Bobby was very athletic and an avid baseball player for many years. He was very passionate about football and baseball. His favorite team was the 49ers. Win or lose he was a die-hard fan. Bobby never met a stranger and was greatly loved by family, friends and coworkers. He was a caregiver by nature and was willing to give his last especially to his grandchildren.
Bobby leaves to cherish his precious memories: the queen of his life, his mother Virginia (Santee) Wilds, his children Chiquita Fox and Monique Fox, his two bonus children Ricky (Erica) Lisbon and Detria Lisbon; his siblings: Nicholas(Shantae) Blathers, best friend and younger brother, half-siblings Marcus Brunson, Stephen Bruce, Pamela (Robert) Goodson, Mary (Stanley) Jett, Barbara Brunson, LaShonda Brunson, Gloria (William) Kelly, Antoinette Brunson and Doretha Brunson, a special sister in Christ Sonya Barr, his maternal aunts: Sarah Louise Williams and Easter Lilly Williams, his paternal uncle: Billy Fox, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.
Bobby was preceded in death by: his father, Bobby Fox, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Foster and Catherine Fox; maternal grandparents: Annie Mae Harrison Brown and Eugene Brown; uncles, Dan Williams, Amos Williams; aunts: Annie Mae Williams, Rosa Mae Gee and half- brother, Teon Bruce.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held daily from 12 Noon to 9:00PM daily at the residence of a brother, Nick Blathers, 131 Sparks St. Darlington.
