Mr. Benny Lee Slater

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell- Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Slater family announce the passing of Mr. Benny Lee Slater, a resident of Honorage Nursing Home, and formerly of Darlington. Mr. Slater passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Honorage Nursing Home following an illness. Mr. Slater was the son of the late Murry Slater, Jr., and Sarah Alice Baker Slater. 

A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC. 

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the residence of a brother, Mr. Tony Slater, 631 First Street, Darlington.
