Mr. Andreau Jeffery

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Jeffery Family shared the loss of Mr. Andreau Jeffery. Mr. Jeffery passed on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his residence.  

Funeral service is 11:00AM on Friday, November 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. 

Obituary

   “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”  

    Mr. Andreau Jeffery was born Jan. 30, 1978 in Darlington, SC a son of Carrie Louise Jeffery. He departed this life on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his residence.

    He was educated in the Darlington County Public School System.

   “Andre”, as he was affectionately called, was always happy-go-lucky and always smiling. He would always find something to laugh or joke about. He was such a people-person. Andreau loved all people. He enjoyed life, and he wanted others around him to enjoy it too! There wasn’t a time when there wasn’t a time one could see Andreau without a smile on his face. His smile radiated. He will always be remembered. He was loving and giving. Andreau made it known by telling his family and friends he loved them.
      He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandfather, Roosevelt “Dick” Jeffery.
    Those left to cherish his memory are: his loving mother, Carrie Louise Jeffery Brown of Timmonsville, SC; his son, Brandon Johnson of Society Hill; his maternal grandmother, Louise Bowman;  his girlfriend, Lanina Collins-Gordon of Florence, SC; his aunt, Crystal Jeffery of Florida; his great uncle, Robert “Bonnie” (Eva) Jeffery of Clearwater, Florida; his great aunts: Ruby Cotton of the home and Mary Jeffery of Darlington, SC; his god-mother, Sonja Jeffery; god-brother, Larry Jeffery; a god-sister, La’Kesha Jeffery; special cousins: Levelle Jeffery and James “BoPete” Jeffery; a host of special cousins and friends.

Visitations for relatives and friends will be held at the residence, 119 Reid Street, Darlington.
