Mrs. Mozone passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at home, surrounded by love.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the home, 515 Brockington Rd, Darlington, SC.
Public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 4:00 PM, Monday, April 7, 2025, in the chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., 612 S Main St, Darlington, SC.
A Homegoing celebration will be held at 12:00 PM Noon, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 102 Farm St, Darlington, SC. Interment will follow at Faith Memorial Gardens, Rogers Rd, Darlington, SC.

Mrs. Ola Mae Robinson Mozone was born in Darlington, SC on December 19, 1941, a daughter of the late Glascow Peter Robinson and Addie Belle Robinson. She entered into her final resting place Wednesday morning, April 2, 2025, at her residence after a battle with dementia.
She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools.
Ola Mae was a faithful member of St. John’s Temple Holiness Church, Society Hill, SC where she served as an Usher, Missionary, The Mother Board and singing on the Missionary Choir.
She was united in marriage to the late James “Slim” Mozone for forty-seven years.
Ola Mae, known to her family as “Gill”, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was loved by all who knew her.
Everyone that knew “Gill” knew that she had a love for shelling pecans, gardening, cooking and feeding family and friends. She also loved watching her favorite TV game show, Wheel of Fortune along with talking and laughing on the phone with her friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
Those left to cherish her precious memory are: her devoted and loving children: Lila Mae Robinson of The Bronx, NY, Addie (Willie) Brown of Darlington, SC and Tarsaha F. Robinson of Easton, PA; five brothers: Elijah (Francis) Robinson of Darlington, SC, Willie (Martha) Robinson of Newark, NJ, Malik Shabazz of Darlington, SC, Frankie Robinson of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Wendell (Carolyn) Robinson of Darlington, SC; three sisters, Annie L. Robinson of Columbia, SC, Mary (Michael) Blackmon and Joan Robinson both of Darlington, SC; six grandchildren: Addrick (Ariel) Robinson of Newnan, GA, Prashant (Disney) Robinson of Pacolet, SC, Corey F. Robinson of The Bronx, NY, Courtney S. Rivera of Manhattan, NY, Jasmin (Juan) Douglas of Florence, SC and Alana Wilson of Easton, PA; twelve great grandchildren; a special niece, Rose Arthur; a special nephew, James Robinson; one special cousin, Sadie Moses; her best friend from their childhood, Vivian Mack; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Glascow and Addie Belle Robinson; three brothers: Glascow Robinson, Jr., Charles House and John F. Robinson; two sisters: Bernetha R. Cannon and Bessie M. Robinson.
