Obituary
“For I am ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:6-7
Mrs. Lillie Mae Wallace Robinson, born January 17, 1949, in Darlington, South Carolina, was the cherished youngest child of Boykin Wallace, Sr. and Clara Lee Smith Wallace. Despite her petite stature, Lillie was a strong and outspoken woman who embraced life with enthusiasm, bringing happiness and support to those around her. Although not a passionate cook, her spaghetti and homemade peach cobbler were remarkably delicious.
She married Carlisle Robinson of Florence, South Carolina, affectionately calling him "her big man." Together, they lovingly raised three children: James, Deloris, and Carlos, and were blessed with numerous grandchildren. Carlisle, a successful proprietor of Robinson & Son Concrete and operator of several taxi cabs, was a pillar of support for Lillie and their family.
While Lillie did not pursue a formal career, she excelled in her roles as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her presence was a constant source of affection, understanding, smiles, laughter, and unwavering support, enriching the lives of her loved ones immeasurably.
