In humble submission to the will of God, the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home and members of the Ross/Beaty family sadly announce the earthly departure of Mother Annie Louise Ross Beaty On Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022. Mother Beaty transitioned peacefully at her residence with her family at her side. God saw fit to end this tedious journey of Mother Beaty. For we are reminded in Psalms 55:6 , It says " Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest." for we know that Mother Annie Ross Beaty is simply resting in the Bosom of the Lord.
Celebration of Life is 1:00pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Tabernacle Worship Center. Interment will follow in Faith Memorial Gardens. Mask are required at the service.

Annie Beaty was born on August 12, 1935 in Darlington, South Carolina to LeeBell and Maude Hall Ross. Annie entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She received her education in Darlington, South Carolina where she lived all of her life. Annie worked for many years as a caregiver in Darlington County.
Her interests included spending time with her family and serving the Lord. She devoted much of her time and energy to loving her entire family which not only included her blood family but her neighbors and friends as well. Annie also loved serving the Lord as she was a faithful member of Tabernacle Worship Center where she remained a member throughout her life. She was the Mother of the Church. Over the years she also served as a Choir Member, Missionary and a Pastor’s Aide under the Leadership of Bishop C. L. Johnson.
Annie “Annie Gal” Beaty is survived by her loving children: Louvenia Goodson, Lillie Mae (Jerome) Adams, Henry (Mary Lee) Ross, Shirley Love, Otis Beaty, Sammie (Barbara) Beaty, Debra B. Delane and Mary (Rodney) Frye; a daughter-in-law,Phyllis Black. Annie also had 25 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly. Annie loved all of her grandchildren dearly and had a special hand in helping to raise the following: Derrick Beaty, Gregory Ross, Renata Beaty, James Ross, and Katrina Beaty Clavon. Annie was very family oriented and her family knew how much she loved them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend was preceded in death by: her parents, LeeBell and Maude Hall Ross; her husband, Otis Beaty, Sr.; one loving son, Levern Black; her grandson, Derrick “Sleprock” Beaty and a son-in-law, Freeman Goodson. Annie also preceded all of her siblings in death: Elease (Sam) Ross-Jones, Viola (Robert) Robinson, William (Nan) Ross, Mary Ross Yokley, Leon (Daisy) Ross, LeeBell Ross Jr, Eva (Raymond) Dixon, Aline (Sam) Dixon, Martha Mae (Richard) Sheff, Wade (Margaret) Ross.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the residence, 501 Woodduck Lane, Darlington.
