Obituary

Miss Miracle Shawnae Wingate was born January 29, 1991 at Winn Army Medical Center in Ft. Stewart, GA. She departed this life peacefully and serenely on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. It was a bittersweet occasion; bitter to us because we lost a love one, but sweet because God added another “Angel” to his kingdom.

Miracle graduated from Bradwell Institute High School in Hinesville, Ga in May 2009. She continued her education at Georgia State University, then later transferred to Kennesaw University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Miracle taught at Kimberly Elementary School and finished her career with The Kendezi Schools.

She was a member of Powerhouse of Deliverance Church where she was a part of the singing group named Precious, served on the nursey staff, children’s church, and summer camp. Miracle was a joyful, kind and delightful person whose smile would light up a room.

Miracle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Leon Ross Sr., Mrs. Daisy Mae Ross and Ms. Annie Mae Wingate.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Elder Frances J. Wingate of Fayetteville, NC; her father, Elder Calvin L. (Carrie) Wingate Sr. of Hinesville, GA; two brothers, Kevin A. Wingate of Fayetteville, NC; Calvin L. (Chiquila) Wingate Jr. of Hinesville, GA; two sisters, Latoya T. Goodman of Florence, SC; Lakeisha S. Wingate of Fayetteville, NC; grandmother, Ms. Dora W. McCullough of Darlington, SC; god sister Jazzma Jemison of Hinesville, GA, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Please keep the Wingate family in your thoughts and prayers.
