Miss Faith LaShan Scipio

It is with profound sorrow the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the passing of Miss Faith L. Scipio of Darlington. Miss Scipio passed on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness. 

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Faith Memorial Gardens.

                                                            ~Obituary~

Miss Faith LaShan Scipio was born in Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, SC on June 10, 1994 a daughter of Larry P. Scipio and the late Hattie McClendon Scipio.  Faith entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her residence.

She received her formal education in the Darlington County Public School District attending Hartsville High School.

Those left to cherish her memory are:  her devoted father, Reverend Larry Scipio of the home; her loving sister, Janice (Thomas) McNeil of Patterson, NJ; four brothers: Bryant (Sharon) Bennett, Keith McClendon both of Myrtle Beach, SC, Larry Scipio, Jr. and Kenyatta Scipio both of Darlington, SC; a special niece, Taquaila McClendon; a host nieces, nephews and cousin; her loving caregiver, Ikesa Robinson.

Visitation for the Scipio family will be held at the residence, 100 Springfield Circle, Darlington.
