Master Kaiden Ja’mir Depugh

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Hickman and Depugh families share the passing of Master Kaiden J. Depugh. Master Kaiden Depugh passed on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. 

Funeral service is 1:00pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Center Baptist Church with Reverend Jackie Boyd, officiating. Interment will follow in Hart No. 2 Cemetery. 

     Kaiden Ja’mir Depugh was born June 17, 2020 in Florence, SC, a son of Precious Hickman and Melika Depugh.  He departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Darlington, SC.

     He attended Prosperity Daycare Center in Lamar, SC.

    Those left  to cherish his memories are:  his mother, Precious Hickman of the home; his father, Melika Depugh of Columbia, SC; his brother, Damari Depugh of the home; his paternal grandmother, Crystal Skidmore of Columbia, SC; his paternal grandfather, Melvin (Ladora) Depugh of Columbia, SC;  his maternal grandfather, Gregory Eaddy; his maternal great grandmother, Thomasena (Woodrow) Brown; his maternal grandfather, Alphonso Coe; paternal great grandmother, Ida (Wayne) Skidmore; paternal great grandmother, Mattie Depugh; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Leroy Depugh.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the residence of great grandmother, Thomasena (Woodrow) Brown, 2740 Welling Farm Road, Darlington.
