It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Geraldine Lighty Coward of Washington, DC, formerly of Darlington, SC. Mrs. Coward transitioned on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in a Washington, DC hospital. She was the daughter of Willie and Addie Jackson Lighty; the sister of Mrs. Lula M. Brown and Mr. Leroy Lighty.
