It is with sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the passing of Mrs. Bessie Mae Sanders Kennedy of Newark, NJ, formally of Society Hill, SC. She is the sister of Evangelist Dorothy Sanders Joynor of Society Hill.

Mrs. Kennedy transitioned on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in New Jersey. Funeral service will be 11:00 on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Lydia Baptist Church, 397 Lyons Avenue, Newark New Jersey. Internment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery Newark, NJ. Whigham Funeral Home of Newark, NJ is assisting the family.
