~Obituary~
On August 1, 2019, our beloved Uncle Willie James McKnight left his earthly home to enter into the arms of his Savior. Willie James McKnight was born in Kingstree, South Carolina the youngest child of Adam J. McKnight, Sr. and Nancy Cirus McKnight. He was a special son and brother to his siblings who all preceded him into heaven.
He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Uncle Willie, as we all called him, didn’t talk much. He was always a great helper around the house or whatever you asked him to do. After the passing of his parents, his brothers and sister were his caretakers.
You would find them taking care of the farm and often seen him riding on the tractor with his big brother, Adam. Later, his caretakers were the Jackson Family. His beloved nephews, Donald, Ronald, their mother and sister, Ann gave excellent care for over 19 years. We thank God for the years he spent with us. Family vacations won’t be the same.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his special nephews and nieces: Ronald (Cynthia) Jackson, Donald (Sharon) Jackson, Betty (Alphonso) Jackson, Ernest Jackson, Martha Ann Smalls, Fred (Barbara) Bacote, James (Ayako) Bacote; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives as well as friends he met in his life.
Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
