It is with heartfelt sympathy that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. announces the passing of Mr. Tony McPhail. Mr. McPhail passed on Friday, July 12, 2019 in a Florence Medical Facility.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Flat Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Faith Memorial Garden.

Tony McPhail was born on November 24, 1968 in Darlington, SC to the late Willie and Lena McPhail. He left his earthly life and entered eternal life on Friday, July 12th, 2019 at McLeod Hospital, Florence, SC.
Tony was educated in Darlington County Public Schools. He later enlisted in the Job Corps. Tony accepted Christ and was baptized at Salem Baptist Church in 2002. He also rededicated his life at his daughter, Geraldine's Initial Sermon on her 18th birthday. He occasionally attended Flat Creek Baptist Church.
He lived all his life in Darlington County where he was employed at Goodson Construction and other various places of employment. He loves softball and played for the Dream Team, the Posse and the Young Gunz. He was greatly loved by family, friends, coworkers and loved ones. He was affectionately called Tony MAC by lots of his friends. He never met a strangers.
Tony leaves to cherish his precious memory: his wife "Evie", his four daugthers Yadhira (Edwin) Brooks, Geraldine (Travis) Pinckney, Gabrielle (Melvin) Wright, his namesake, Toni Brianna McPhail, and is son, Peter (Giovanna) Ramirez; his 11 grandchildren; his brother and sister- in-laws Antonio Arias, and Dorothy Arias from Jacksonville, Florida; five sisters, Sarah (James) Dority of Darlington, Shirley Carlyle of Georgia, Terry, Carolyn, and Sharon McPhail all of Darlington; two brothers, Roosevelt and Larry McPhail, both of Darlington; two aunts, Katie Lide and Mary (Daniel) Barcus both of Darlington; one uncle, Clarence Muldrow; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who cherish his precious memory.
Those preceding him in death are his nephew, Raphael Arias II, his two sisters, Gloria Williamson and Jeanette Joe, and one brother, Willie Lee McPhail.
Visitation for the McPhail family will be 1:00pm to 7:00pm at 1738 Elissa Drive, Darlington.
